Rita Zofia Filipski
I began my art career at Columbus College of Art and Design where I learned foundations and the basics of animation. Soon I transferred to SUNY Fredonia to continue my education in animation and illustration.
Animation is a big part of my life that will never go away. I like to study the way the body works and how objects interact with gravity and motion.
I enjoy the process and sketching that goes into creating a piece of art. I think the hectic and free falling lines that create action and personality through a concept drawing conveys more about an artist’s work than the finished product itself. This brings out my passion for sequential art and creating the many frames that go into making an animation more charismatic. I like to have fun with my work and create exciting worlds that viewers will find enjoyable to watch.
